Communication and Public Relations Manager

外資系一般消費財メーカーでのCommunication and Public Relations Managerのポジションです。

I. Principal Accountabilities:
1. Lead external and internal corporate communication
・Take initiatives to raise corporate awareness, corporate PR to foster employer branding.
・Manage press release, press conference and other corporate interviews by media. Be a spokesperson when required. Prepare and oversee the press release for corporate activities and liaise with media and PR agencies.
・Plan and activate external exposure of CEO and corporate to enhance corporate brand awareness to the public.
・Manage the corporate website updates to maximize the corporate image.
・Manage production of communication tools (print & digital) such as year-end greeting e-cards, internal pictures and posters, etc.
・Manage risk and crisis management in communication and media relations. Act as a Crisis Correspondent with HR & Corporate Communication Director.
・Organize quarterly employee meeting, Company Annual Conference and develop contents with cross functional collaborations as a project leader.
・Responsible to post internal corporate news in MyPortal and contribute to PR Asia news in collaboration with Marketing team.
・Enhance and upgrade internal communication and programs, i.e. employee awards, etc.
・Support departments, when requested, for their external/internal communication strategy and actions (messages, communication plan and tool development)
・Benchmark peers' practice
・Work as a team to welcome visitors when necessary.
・Manage and control budget for corporate communication.
2. Responsible for public relations and public affairs management
・Strategically manage public affairs matters to sustain our business in Japan.
・Anticipate any concerns and risks which may impact the business, monitor political and financial developments (e.g. potential for tax reform) and flag it to the management team with recommended solutions and actions.
・Monitor on-going regulatory issues (e.g. additives, labeling, traceability, enhanced protection for geographical indicators, new law related to alcohol, etc) and take actions

in liaise with our SCM(Supply Chain Management) team, PRA, HQ, and industry
colleagues where necessary.
・Manage correspondence with HQ and PR Asia in related to public affairs updates.
・Support CEO on position papers development at European Business Council as needed,
and manage other tools to engage the Japanese Ministries on active files.
・Effectively influence and liaise with industry colleagues in lobbying for common
interests to protect the industry.
・Build relationship with external stakeholders such as governments, government
agencies, public bodies, etc..
・Participate scheduled meetings at EBC (European Business Council), JWSIA(Japan Wines
and Spirits Importers。ヲ Association) board meetings and committees.
3. Lead S&R initiatives for Pernod Ricard S&R roadmap
・Take lead for our S&R key priorities focusing on the Pernod Ricard S&R roadmap which
PR Japan to contribute to take actions to achieve the goal by 2030.
・Develop plans and follow through actions across functions by building team in
Responsible Hosting, Valuing People, Nurturing Terroir, and Circular Making.
・Develop and lead an annual Responsib。ヲall day program with the team.
・Roll out the change management plan to improve S&R understanding and goals
throughout the company/perimeter.
・Roll out Group。ヲs S&R policies, including Q&A library, key messages etc .
・Collaborate with PRA, HQ on S&R initiatives as a S&R Leader of PR Japan.
・Responsible for budget planning and management.
II. Essential Qualifications
- (As Minimum) Bachelors Degree in Law, Communication, Public Affairs, Social
Sciences or other relevant fields from a top university;
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Japanese; French an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
- Strategic mindset, leadership to influence and team management, positive approach,
cross functional collaboration, people development competency
- Business acumen, creative, organizing skills;
- Project and budget management skills;
IV. Assets
- Experience in working in a multicultural environment as a leader or manager,
preferably more than 5 years ;
- Embody the values of Pernod Ricard;
- Previous experience working in Pernod Ricard and/or PR, communication, event
organizing function;
