Inventory Optimization Analyst
Demand Planning has two core functions; Demand Management and Inventory Optimization.
1.Inventory Optimization group is mainly responsible for driving BSJ’s inventory improvement initiatives. Under the control tower (=Demand Planners), it collaborates to strategize how BSJ optimizes inventory. The scope ranges from DC, Pipeline, Blocked, Sales offices, and to Consignment inventory. In particular, there is a big room to improve consignment inventory, therefore, more focus should come on how much the optimal consignment inventory level and how to make reduction through analysis and execution. (60% time dedication)
2.Inventory Optimization group innovates and continuously improves processes that result in process simplification, automation, and digitalization in our daily operations. Particular, it takes a lead of the cross-divisional projects which will create new inventory management process or new inventory modeling. (40% time dedication)
1.Work as a buddy of demand planner: plan and execute annual, event, and seasonal inventory actions by collaborating with Business Units and other Function departments
2.Provide regular reports, analysis, and recommendations for making decisions regarding reducing, selling, or disposing inventory
Develop visualized report in order to enhance transparency of supply chain information (Tableau, SAP, and etc.)
3.Work as a change steward in process improvement project, using DMAIC, Design Thinking, Logical Thinking, or any problem-solving approaches
Work closely with supply chain data to help deploy new solutions to support inventory planning and control
4.Participate in pilot engagements to demonstrate new inventory modeling and ensure succession to standard process
5.Conduct math-modeling, simulation and statistical analysis to clearly define problems, generate ideas, and recommend next steps
- Required Skills：
1.Data analysis capability including statistics, simulation, and modeling techniques to provide insight to stakeholders in order to deliver supply chain 2. enhancement and transformation
Project management and change management capability to make real operational impact
1.Over 3 years experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, Procurement, or Supply Chain consulting is preferable, but the neighbor area like Logistics, Distribution, Manufacturing, Customer Service, or other Operations function can be candidate.
2.Ability to manage projects or process improvement initiatives with cross functional teams using advanced influencing & leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze, trouble-shoot, problem solve and resolve complex issues.
3.Logical thinking, Logical communication, and Tough execution
Strong Data analysis capability; manipulating large amounts of data and converting to clear business information
4.Statistic software experience or math-modeling experience preferred
