- RETAIL CHANNEL MANAGER:
The Retail Channel Manager is responsible for the mobile phone business development and expansion inclusive of revenue growth and market share for the phone business. The candidate must be proficient at planning and executing an effective business strategy with retail, distributer partners, setting up effective mid/long-term sustainable business model.
This position will report to the country GM
・Channel structure planning and defining of Reseller and Retail strategy development
・Set quarterly partner channel goals
・Reseller, Distributer and Retail channel mapping and expansion
・Establish monthly account reviews with country manager
・Sales cadence planning/driving/tracking
・Customer Development Fund budget planning/managing
・Alignment with partner direction and strategy & coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners・expectations
・Deep analysis in identifying business opportunities, generating and coordinating solutions with other functions and teams
・Plans and facilitates and/or conducts complex negotiations for key customers
・Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
・Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
・Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
・Manages potential channel conflict with other Moto sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
・Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
・Manages and processes partner claims and interfaces with back office support teams
・Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
- Language:English-Business Level, Japanese: Native Level
・Minimum 6-8 years・Mobile industry experience or FMCG environment market.
・Demonstrates expertise in business skills which set up and enables a sustainable business strategy, model and objectives.
・Demonstrates clear written and oral communication techniques with customers and internally.
・Able to work in a team environment and with cross functional teams
・Able to present in small and large groups and prepare relevant materials
・Able to use and understand Microsoft excel, Power point, Word and Outlook
・Able to travel interstate or internationally if required for short period of time to support customer meetings, conferences or internal training and operations meetings.
・Plans and facilitates and/or conducts complex negotiations reaching lasting agreements and commitments.
・Preference for Bachelor or Associate Degree in Marketing / Marcomm / Business Management
