- ・Support and work closely with the Country Business Leaders senior management of the business segment and headquarters to develop strategic plans, operating plans and rolling estimate as their key contact. Ensure accurate understanding of financial aspects of the business and key levers to improve / maximize financial performance respective businesses.
・ Manage the monthly/quarterly enrollment, P&L and cash flows, including variance analysis versus expected operating performance and propose actions required to meet the set objectives.
・Continually review/analyze the business, manage scorecard and initiate/implement changes for better decision making atboth corporate and business level to improve business performance. Control and drive a robust forecasting process, withrisks and sensitivities and underlying assumptions identified.
・Identify areas requiring improvement and/or changes in any areas of the business activities with focus on profitability, and create/lead tasks/projects to address those areas with appropriate priority and sense of urgency.
・Continuously contribute to enhance functioning capabilities of the team by exchanging information and best practices with the team on issues such as local business trends, growth opportunities, on-going projects and concerns.
- ・Language Level: Japanese: Native / English: Fluent (e.g. TOEIC 800+)
・Knowledge of trend of accounting standards･ Minimum 5 years of finance experience in working in financial/strategic planning and/or control organization
・Strong, demonstrable experience and expertise in problem solving and general business analysis. (e.g., Variance analysis vs.plan/forecast/prior year, trend analysis, profitability analysis by product/reporting unit, benchmarking with competitors.)
・Strong analytical skills - able to distil simplicity from complexity.
・Strong planning skills - able to anticipate and respond to issues and plan solutions appropriately across multiple work areas.
・Customer focused - able to collaborate as a business partner to listen, interpret and meet business needs.
・Good at dealing with numbers, especially identification of factors driving the business and underlying issues.
・Effective communicator - both 1:1, 1:many, verbal & written.
・Advanced skill to use spreadsheets and MicroSoft desktop tools, e.g. MS Excel.
