The Finance Manager of Diagnostic Ultrasound and IT takes a PL ownership for Japan Diagnostic Ultrasound and IT (“DU-IT”) sales team and has management responsibility for 1 temp staff.

・ Partner with Sales Leader of Japan DU-IT and other sales mangers to drive operating performance, business initiatives, growth and profitability
・Provide financial support from Sales (revenue) to Operating Margin including pricing and margin analysis and Base Costs
・Develop the financial reports, analysis, estimates, forecasts, operating plan, annual plan and 3 year plan
・Create a cost control environment and educate the sales and operational teams to monitor their costs in order to meet the targets. Support inventory management and drive current operational behavior
・Prepare and post the journals for revenue and cost related accounts
・Works closely with the inventory manager to analyze cost of goods sold and product profitability.
・Ensure compliance with revenue recognition and other key financial guidelines. Cascade such compliance culture across the Japan DU-IT sales and operational teams
・Coordinate internal and external audits for the business
・Manage Finance staff

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and minimum of 5 years of financial work experience
2. Strong analytic skills
3. Basic understanding of financial compliance : GAAP
4. Clear thinking and problem solving
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (e.g. Oracle, SAP, COGNOS etc) and strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation
7. Native level Japanese skill : verbally and in writing
8. Excellent English skills : Fluent verbally and in writing
9. Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
