| 1. Application Engineer |
| 業務内容 |
■Job Summary:
The application engineer’s primary role
is to lead development of product specific brake and fuel systems
from customer request to production launch, ensuring compliance
with customer requirements and TI Automotive’s product requirement
and manufacturing targets.
All developments are performed by cross
functional teams (Engineering, Production, Quality and Purchasing)
lead by a project manager.
The position will be based within the TI
Japan FCS office in Nagoya or FS office ( Yokohama or Gunma), but
travel may be required from time to time to support our customers
projects as necessary
■Duties and Requirements of the Job:
・Review customer requirements and evaluate
which of TI’s technology solutions will be most appropriate for the
customer application
・Prepare development proposals in co-operation
with cross-functional team
・Development of time lines, validation
plans, cost estimates, manufacturing plans etc;
・Lead design activity of new systems including
design release based on development plan and customer requirements
・Customer interface for technical issues
・Follow up project in accordance with APQP
(Advanced Product Quality Planning)
・Assist in the building of prototypes
・Assist in sourcing of components/supplier
selection
・Assist in testing of product
・Other duties as required from time to
time

・Ability to read, write, understand and
speak both Japanese and English to a level sufficient to successfully
carry out the above duties and requirements
・Ideally a proven and successful track
record working in a similar role within the Automotive Industry
・Tubing Experience or FS, plastic parts

| 2. Technology Manager (Engineer)- NA |
| 業務内容 |
■Job Summary:
The JOEM Technology Manager (Engineer) is
responsible for the co-ordination, validation and implementation
of new technology concepts targeting Japanese OEMs in NA, LA and
Japan. The role includes both incremental development of technologies
to suit JOEM requirements, and the proposal of new technology initiatives
in line with qualified JOEM opportunities. The successful candidate
will have a strong automotive engineering or R&D background
and good interpersonal skills. Central to the position is the ability
to work effectively within the TI NA Technology Group to incorporate
JOEM requirements into the product development process. Although
reporting to the Japan-based Technology Director (Manager)- JOEMs,
the position has “dotted line” responsibility to the Regional Technology
Director in NA.
■Duties and Requirements of the Job:
・Establish and maintain collaborative relationships
within the TI NA Technology Group, and within the TI Japan FCS or
FS team;
・Establish JOEM customer relationships in
NA and Japan, in partnership with the relevant account managers/application
engineers assigned to each;
・Ensure the incorporation of JOEM design,
performance and validation expectations into TI Automotive technology
development programs;
・Develop test/verification/validation programs
according to JOEM customer requirements, and manage activities to
ensure timely progress and outcomes;
・Collate and prepare presentations in order
to promote new technology concepts to the customer base;
・Provide test data and benchmarking figures
in suitable JOEM format as required by the customer during the process
of evaluating TI Automotive technologies

| 業務内容 |
■Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating all aspects
of TI Automotive relationships with Customers, Purchasing, Engineering,
Manufacturing and Accounting activities.
■Duties and Requirements of the Job:
・Establish and maintain direct customer
contacts/relationships.
・Manage all commercial aspects of the account.
・Support program management and manufacturing
functions for all launches.
・Act as intermediary between customer and
other TI Automotive activities.
・Maintain close relationships with key
accounts and ensure their requirements are met by the company’s products
where ever possible.
・Appraise current and planned customer
needs and advise, promote and educate on the application of company
products to customer’s requirements.
・Identify new opportunities within customer
base that are compatible with corporate goals and develop marketing
strategies to obtain new business.
・Assist in the preparation of proposals
and detailed costing and prepare contract documents for negotiation
with clients.
・Assist in identifying cost savings and
quality improvement opportunities to meet customer and TI Automotive
requirements.
・Ensure that complaints are followed up
and that satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer
and TI Automotive.
・Participate in regular sales meetings
to set strategies and determine business plants related to assigned
products or customers.
・Prepare regular reports as required.
・Participate in preparation of annual forecast,
monthly activity reports and long term plans.
・Frequently traveling for visiting customer
sites and TI-Yokohama / Nagoya Office.

| 5. Quality Engineer |
| 業務内容 |
■Job Summary:
The Quality engineer’s primary role is
to lead and support the quality improvement activities for the process
and the product from customer requests to production preparation
and production launch, ensuring compliance with customer requirements
and TI Automotive’s requirements.
The position will be based within the TI Automotive Japan Yokohama office, but travel may be required from time to time to support other OEM projects as necessary
■Duties and Requirements of the Job:
・To evaluate the process & product to be improved with the customer requirements and expectation
・To instruct the manufacturing process engineering and the manufacturing quality control through a various quality analysis.
・To support the product safety launching with the team work mind
・To support a various quality technical cause analysis for the quality improvement
